Missions: Service Excursions

“Across the street or around the world,

Frisco Family Services provided the Helping Hands Ministry with several families who were either physically or financially unable to care for their yards. Our volunteers broke up into teams and performed extreme yard makeovers for three of these families.

These FBC Frisco members were serving the God who “is able to do exceedingly and abundantly above all that we ask or think,” so we agreed that this project would involve more than just mowing! Huge trees were pruned, dead shrubs removed, flower beds were enlarged and cleaned out and beautiful new plants and flowers were added to the yards.

These wonderful volunteers were able to put a fence back up that had been blown down. Afterwards, they prayed with those they served and gave glory to our Lord for the opportunity to bless each other. We learned about the struggles that these families were facing and we all felt very blessed to be able to serve them and our heavenly Father.
