At the heart of Frisco's history, when this was only a one-horse train stop town, and the year was 1902, local ministers gathered with the town folk of Frisco for the purpose of organizing a Baptist Churct. The deed for the church property was given, and on August 13th, 1902 a new pastor, church officers, and a unanimous confession stating “the brethren and sisters, being satisfied with each other, and believing it to be the Lord’s will and for the advancement” began the church, and motioned to name it The First Baptist Church of Frisco.
Throughout the years, we have moved to various buildings and are currently located on Main Street Downtown Frisco.
We have been placed in the midst of a growing city and we retain the original goal of reaching out and being a blessing to the community.
Pastor Chuck Martin joined FBC Frisco in 2002 and has consistently led our congregation to a place of relevance in our contemporary culture.
History is still being written here at FBC Frisco as each new Christ-follower impacts others, and as the Lord continues to form us for His kingdom.
