Next Step Series

Jesus called the first disciples to “come and follow me,” and he is calling us today to do the same. Life in Christ is about movement and progress which involves a series of “Next Steps”. Too often believers and even churches reach a point in development where they stagnate rather than take the next step. When we do, we stop actively following the Holy Spirit’s leading in our lives and our spiritual health and vitality is negatively impacted.

For many believers we believe the next step may be moving from sitting in an adult class on Sunday morning to accepting a “call to service.” For others, it may be establishing a daily quiet time, or going on a mission trip. During the month of May, we will be highlighting potential Next Steps, and encouraging each other to take the “Next Step” both individually and as a church.

Philemon 6 NIV states “I pray that you may be active in sharing your faith, so that you will have a full understanding of every good thing we have in Christ”
